Coach Bennett

Head Boys Coach

 

Coach Bennett graduated from the University of West GA with a  degree in Political science and engineering. He holds a Masters degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic. He has been coaching football and track at North Cobb for 3 years. Bennett resides in Atlanta with his wife Kristin and 2 sons: Kameron and Preston.

Coach Dennard

Coach Dennard graduated from Mercer University with a B.B.A and M.B.A. He teaches Marketing & Business classes at North Cobb. Coach Dennard resides in Cobb County with his wife Sheri and their two children: Krissy & Katie.

 
Coach Johnson

Long Jump Coach

Her passion for the sport of track started with 20 plus years of Track & Field Career. During her career she maintained a top 10 ranking in the women's long jump for over 16 years. Her coaching career expanded to collegiate athletics. She served as the assistant coach for:  Fresno City College, Long Beach State University, University of California, Irvine

 

Coach Johnson currently works in Corporate Fitness for several Fitness Management Companies that services the top Fortune 500 companies in the Atlanta Area

 
 
Coach Huff

Distance Coach

​​Coach Huff has been coaching distance runners for 14 years. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1999 with a degree in Math Education. He then began teaching and coaching cross country at Pebblebrook High School. In 2006 he came to North Cobb where he’s since been teaching math and coaching Cross Country. This is his 3rd year working with the long distance runners as part of the Track and Field staff. The long distance races include the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter events.

Coach McGhee

Head Girls Track Coach

Warrior Football Varsity & JV- Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs Coach

 

Coach McGehee graduated from the University of Alabama.  He received his Masters from Ball State University and his Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University.  He has been coaching for 12 years and has been honored as Assistant Coach of the Year and Head Coach of the Year during his career.  McGehee resides in Paulding County with his wife Amy and their two children:  Brett and Clayton

Coach Lauren

Pole Vault Coach

Coach Lauren graduated as a member of North Cobb High School’s class of 2010. She competed four years of varsity track and field for the Warriors, as well as two years of cross country and two years of club track with World Class Sports, Ltd (located in Fitzgerald, GA). As a pole vaulter, Lauren competed in the GHSA state championship meets for 2008, 2009, and 2010, earning the title of State Champion in 2009 and setting a new AAAAA state record jump of 11 feet 7 inches. She continues to pole vault as a hobby, but also enjoys running with her dog Kodiak, doing yoga, volunteering with her church, and helping young athletes reach their potential on and off the track. Go Warriors!
